Worked Example
To make 250 mL of 0.500 M NaCl, convert 250 mL to 0.250 L, then multiply by 0.500 mol/L and 58.44 g/mol.
Common Mistakes
Do not forget to convert mL to L. If a hydrate is used, calculate with the hydrate molar mass actually weighed out.
